Mozda grijesim,ali ne cini mi se nesto posebno ta razlika od 15ks u odnosu na 2.2 JTS,mada ce ovaj novi motor nesumnjivo imati bolji Nm.

Trenutno sam u GR,Alfe su bas zastupljene,najvise 159 i GT,ali da ne odugovlacim vidio sam prije dva dana crnu 159 nazad dje stoji oznaka motora pisalo je 1.8 i nista vise,a znam da je najslabiji benzinac u njih bio 1.9 JTS,dok ni dizela nema 1.8,je li moguce da je to ta?

Alfa Romeo je danas objavio da će od sledećeg meseca u prodaju krenuti Alfa 159 1750 TBi, odnosno 159–ka sa novim 1,75 litarskim TBi benzinskim motorom, koja je zvaničnu premijeru imala na Salonu automobila u Ženevi početkom marta.
1,75 litarski TBi benzinski agregat (ima turbo punjač, direktno ubrizgavanje i ispunjava Euro 5 standard) raspolaže sa snagom od 147kW/200KS i 320 Nm obrtnog momenta pri samo 1400 o/min., a dolazi u paru sa šestostepenim manuelnim menjačem.
Sa novim motorom Alfa 159 postiže najveću brzinu od 235 km/h, dok za ubrzanje do stotke potroši 7,7 sekundi. Po fabričkim podacima Alfa 159 1750 TBi na 100 km troši 8,1 litar goriva i emituje 189 grama CO2 po kilometru, a njena cena u Italiji iznosi 28.360 evra.
Ovaj novi benzinac će se inače kasnije ugrađivati i Alfu 159 Sportwagon, Breru i Spider.

The new 159 is designed to express a sporting yet seductive personality and boasts road holding and performance that set new standards for this class of car. Two new engines in particular (a 200 HP, 1750 cc turbocharged petrol engine and a 170 HP 2.0 JTDM diesel) place the Alfa Romeo 159 firmly in market segment D, in the power range that accounts for over half of Alfa Romeo sales.
Under their fascinating and highly personal exterior, all Alfa Romeos offer a choice of superb engines, all packed with the latest technology and bursting with performance. Alfa Romeo engines are the perfect embodiment of the sporting soul that has always set the marque apart from the competition. The Alfa Romeo 159 is certainly no exception. Starting from April 2009, the new 159 will be available with a brand new engine: a 1750 cc turbocharged petrol engine that conforms to Euro 5 standards and develops 200 HP between 4,750 and 5,500 rpm with 320 Nm of torque at only 1,400 rpm.
The new 1750 cc turbo petrol engine (manufactured by FPT - Fiat Powertrain Technologies) comes combined with a six speed manual gearbox and boasts advanced ignition control solutions including direct fuel injection, two continuously variable valve timing units, a turbocharger and a revolutionary scavenging control system. The resulting performance is comparable to – or better than – that of many 3 litre engines while still delivering fuel consumption typical of a compact four cylinder unit.

Successor to the legendary Giulia, whose mechanical configuration and great road holding it inherited, the 1750 Berlina stood out for its sleek, modern lines, comfortable interior and high level of finish. The soberly elegant 1750 Berlina also boasted impressive performance, at the highly competitive price of 1,960,000 Liras. With these vital characteristics, it is small wonder that the Alfa 1750 Berlina proved such a great success, selling 101,883 units in just four years.
In mechanical terms, the 1750 Berlina adopted all the strong points of the Giulia but introduced a major innovation in the form of a twin cam four cylinder engine. With a displacement of 1779 cc, this engine developed 132 HP SAE (118 HP DIN) thanks to two horizontal twin-choke carburettors and a dry air filter (a version with indirect fuel injection was also developed for the U.S. market). It took the Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina to over 180 kph and accelerated it from 0 to 100 kph in just 10.2 seconds. The car’s superb performance was amply demonstrated in its first race appearance in the Spa-Francorchamps 24 hours endurance race in 1968 when the first places were taken by four 1750 Berlinas.
With rear wheel drive and a synchronised 5-speed gearbox, the 1750 Berlina was produced in two series between 1968 and 1971: the main differences between the two series were the front sidelights (moved from the bumper to the front wings), the rear model logo, the side direction indicators, the brake and clutch pedal (pivoted from above in the second series) and the wood rim steering wheel.
It is clear, then, that the new Alfa 159 1750 TBi inherits its comfort and elegance from the 1750 Berlina of the nineteen sixties. The new 159 also reminds us of Alfa’s glorious past in the exuberant performance of its turbocharged engine. The already acclaimed 1779 cc twin cam straight four was modified to accept a turbo-charger and intercooler in 1986, boosting its power output to 155 HP and giving the car a top speed of 210 kph (the first model equipped with this turbocharged engine was the later Alfa 75). Alfa Romeo was thus able to offer the international market a pace-setting yet refined and reliable turbo-charged engine, one of the first to be equipped with an electronic rev-limiting system to ensure reliability and durability. We all know that the Alfa 75 Turbo went on to have a successful racing career, culminating in the IMSA version in which this same engine was boosted to an amazing 335 HP.

Tada ću najverovatnije preći na neki Ti iz 2009. i želim da prvi put u životu imam benzinca sa turbinom... da li će 2011 - 159 biti još uvek lep, nemam pojma, ali moram nekad u životu i ja da prođem tu petrolhead fazu. Uostalom, kakav sam to Alfista ako ne prođem, right?

I samo da se jos batale prednjeg pogona... i mozda ga ne bi posmatrao kao fiat vec kao pravog naslednika tradicije o kojoj toliko pricaju a sa kojom nemaju nikakve veze vishe...

Ovaj motor je takav sex... da ne verujem sta su napravili... kapiram da on ide sumanuto...
Ovo je Borg Warner K03 twin scroll turbina. Mogli su i bolje... citaj skuplje i kvalitetnije da prodju...
Upravo ono sto mi se svidja ce praviti najvishe problema u odrzavanju... mada dok neko ne postuje full manual za ovaj motor necemo znati tacno sta je unutra... ali na pravi pogled ne bih kupio ovo polovno nikada ni da mi pucaju u noge...
3 senzora bregaste, vishe vakum creva nego sto mozes da prebrojis, varijabilni usis, 2 vvti sistema sa kontrolom, koliko mi se cini ovo je WBO2 sensor pre cat-a... tona tehnologije nad kojom nemas nikakvu kontrolu... kad nesto crkne ili pocne da crkava... srecno... a to je fiat nesto mora da crkne...
Dobra stvar je da ima mnooooogoooo mesta za poboljsanje... pitanje samo koliko je otvoren ecu software... i sta je... u svakom slucaju uz neki motec i veci turbo, inj. itd... vidim ove automobile preko 300ks lagano u domenu 400-500ks kao sto VW fura svoj 1.8t... jedino sto VW ima fabricki kovane klipove, klipnjace i radilicu i moze to da trpi... pitanje sta je fiat uradio...
u svakom slucaju zanima me sta ce uraditi sa ovim motorom entuzijasti kada ih se dokopaju...
