1970 je uradjena zadnja izmena na ovim automobilima i to ima je ujedno bila zadnja sezona u sampionatu evrope turistickih automobila jer je ukinuta klasa 1000ccm,2 godina pre kad je abarth usao u Grupu 5,mislim da je tada i uvedena ta klasa,dobili su 2 dvogrla webera i imali su 110ks pri 8000rpm iz 982ccm a kad su uvedene poslednje izmene za ovu klasu bila je dozvoljena radijalna glava tj radijalno postavljeni ventili u glavi i imao je 112ks na 8200rpm,komprsije je bila dozvoljena izmedju 10 i 13:1, felne su bila napred 7Jx13 a pozadi 8Jx1,imali su i sira krila,dikove napred i nazad a tezina je bila 583kg...sve kasinije izmene su bile van ove homologacije jer je abarth nastavio da se trka po raznim drugim sampionatima i samim tim se i prilagodjavao tim homologacijama pa su i postizene vec snage motora,ja kako sam cuo meksimalno je izvlaceno 120ks iz tih motora a da su po nekoj homologaciji radjeni,mozda ima i jacih ali neke hobi varijante
od '70 se pojavljuje kod nas i prvi je vozio Djani Sverko,direktno iz italije stigao sa fabrickim 1000 tcr-om na trku na uscu,posle ih je bilo sve vise sve do '79 kad su nestali iz naseg sampionata zadnje 2 godine su vozili u klasi do 1150ccm...
Evo jedne slike koju je cale davno uslikao,nemam skener pa sam pokusao da slikam sa fotografije mobilnim,rec je o abarth-u 1000 tcr Paje Komnenovica,cale je slikao na Beranovcu '76 (tacnije trka je bila 15. avgusta 1976) to mi je jedina citava a i dobro ocuvana slika abarta sa nasih trka....
