This is a very interesting article. Talks about an ex-works Ferrari F40 LM which raced by Jean Alesi and Jean-Pierre Jabouille in the IMSA GT Series between 1989 and 1990. The car was later sold to a rich milionaire named Jean Blaton, who used to race in the 50s and 60s (even at Le Mans) under the nickname of Jean Beurlys. Tired of the "mundanity" of the F40, he decided to get something even more special. He commissioned the job to Tony Gillet, later the creator of the Gillet Vertigo, who ripped apart the roof of the F40 LM, under the control of Michelotto. The car is supposed to have the full-spec 760hp LM engine.
